According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 11,700 tons of cold-finished steel bars in November last year, falling by 3% compared to the previous month but rising by 6% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the exports to Canada accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 5,600 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 8.9% and a year-on-year drop of 6.7%. Mexico ranked second with approximately 4,700 tons, and the exports to other destinations were not many.
During the period, the export value totaled approximately US$27 million, slightly up by 0.4% month on month and growing by 18.8% year on year.
