The Total Vanadium Pentoxide Production In China In The First Three Quarter Of 2021 Increases Y-O-Y

www.ferroallonet.com:  In the first three quarter of 2021, China produced about 82,715 tons vanadium pentoxide flake and 6,721 tons vanadium pentoxide powder, which was 0.33% higher than that of 82,447 tons in 2020 and growing up 23% compared to the 5,464 tons in 2020 respectively. In the first six months of 2021, the production for V2O5 flake was far higher than that of 2020 to 56,302 tons. However, with the market demands from vanadium nitrogen alloy shrunk in the third quarter, the overall output for V2O5 flake got to declining and even lower than that of 2020.

For vanadium pentoxide powder, the production in 2021 was significantly higher than that of 2020. Thanks to the rebounding production from the overhauling and maintain equipment from the environmental inspection in early time, the overall yield for V2O5 powder was increasing rapidly. It is forecasted that the production in the fourth quarter may have a bit shrink from the cutting production on terminal industry.
