www.ferroalloynet.com: As we learnt that Chinese vanadium exporters raised their offer prices again this week thanks to a back drop of tightening supply, while European ferro-vanadium prices stand still even narrowed amid a slowdown in spot activity. Currently Chinese ferro-vanadium export prices ticked up for the second consecutive week in the pricing week ended Friday January 18 amid limited availability of the material in the country’s domestic market. And the domestic market prices also edge up by CNY 5000/t today. The European price assessment for ferro-vanadium, 78% min, fob China, stood at $70-72 per kg on January 17, up by 0.7% from $69-72 per kg in the previous week and stay this level till January 23.
