www.ferroalloynet.com: Data show that, in 2017, China’s ferroniobium imports totaled 24644 tons, and those in Jan-Sep of 2018 totaled 24561 tons, which is almost as much as last year’s imports. The imports data of October, and November and December in 2018 are yet to be released. Thus, Chinese ferroniobium imports in 2018 will be much more than those last year. Amid the high prices of vanadium, Chinese steel mills increase the consumption of ferroniobium and reduce the cost of vanadium, leading ferroniobium prices to be firm at present.
