Ammonium metavanadate factories was impacted by environmental inspections and some of them reduced or controlled production, so the output was decreased sharply from May. Vanadium pentoxide flake supplies had been tight, so the offering prices kept increasing. But the transaction volume was low. At the end of June, steel mills attended the tenders with high procurement demand for vanadium materials, pushing vanadium-nitrogen prices to soar. Whereas, vanadium-nitrogen spot cargoes were insufficient and the offering prices were chaotic, so the transaction situation was not good.
