Suppliers who have inventory hold strong mentality for price up. At present, the mainstream prices of Chinese vanadium nitride stand at RMB157,000-160,000/t (USD30.2-30.8/kg V) delivered D/A 180 days, up by RMB5,000/t (USD1/kg V) from late last week. Considering that most producers prefer to hold back from selling for the moment, insiders believe that the mainstream prices of Chinese vanadium nitride would edge up in the coming week.
