Stainless Steel Exports From China To Turkey Increase Due To Strong Market Demand

This July, Chinese stainless steel exports went down by 15.8% compared with the past month and were calculated to be 410,000 tons.

According to relevant data, exports to South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Russia largely shrank. Meanwhile, exports only increased in Turkey, Brazil, and India. However, current China’s stainless steel exports are still at a historical high.

Since the pandemic situation remains serious in foreign countries, stainless steel materials exported from China are helpful as a kind of supplement.

In July, China exported a total of 42,500 tons of stainless steel to Turkey, a 231.8% growth compared with the same month in the past year. The increase was mainly due to Turkish housing demand and the rapid development of urbanization, which supported the country’s steel demand.
