According to Glencore report, it produced 5.5 million pounds (equals 2495 tons) vanadium pentoxide in Q1 2021, which was 1.3 million pounds (590 tons) higher than Q1 2020 and growing up by 31% year-on-year, reflecting planned maintenance and national lockdown in the base period. It declined by 0.4 million pounds(181 tons) compared with the 5.9 million pounds (2676 tons) in Q4 2020. The total vanadium pentoxide production in 2020 was 19.5 million pounds (8845 tons ), down by 317 tons year-on-year affected by the COVID-19. It is forecasted that the production in 2021 may rebound to the level in 2019.
