The project, invested and constructed by Liaoning Datang International Dalian Co., Ltd., is located near Fuzhou Town and Xianyuwan Town, Wafang City, Dalian, and was approved in 2017. The construction includes 50 wind turbines with a single capacity of 2MW and an installed capacity of 100MW, and the corresponding 10MW/40MWh all-vanadium liquid flow battery energy storage station.
The project combined with large total vanadium flow batteries system to participate in the smooth wind power output, planning power tracking, fault crossing, and virtual moment of inertia of primary frequency response, power system security and stability control, improving power quality, black start, and other functions of grid application requirements, to explore the application mode of energy storage power station in the response speed, power, energy and other aspects of requirements and constraints, and it is put forward requirements grid-connection control strategy of energy storage power station under different application, and to further explore the combined application of different strategies, a coupling to achieve the energy storage system optimization scheduling model, It has important demonstration significance and promotion value for exploring the friendly construction mode of integration of source, network and storage. The other two integrated wind farm projects of grid source storage built in the same period with this project will also be put into operation in the near future. The energy storage scale of all-vanadium liquid flow battery is 10MW/40MWh respectively.
