TNT Mines Returns High-grade Uranium And Vanadium In Samples From None Such

TNT Mines Limited (ASX:TIN) has delineated high-grade uranium and vanadium in samples gathered from the None Such workings within the 100%-owned East Canyon Project in Utah, USA.

These results from the initial exploration sampling program confirm the high-grade uranium and vanadium potential of the project.

This program was focused in the northern area of the East Canyon claim holdings where the historic None Such and Bonanza mine workings are located.

Assay results include:

0.6 metres at 0.34% U3O8 and 1.55% V2O5; 1-metre at 0.22% U3O8 and 2.29% V2O5; and 1.5 metres at 0.10% U3O8 and 0.88% V2O5. Three further underground channel sampling assays and one underground grab sample assay from None Such are pending, after delays due to radiation limits exceeding laboratory thresholds.

Highly prospective The company is confident that visible mineralisation throughout workings and historic 1962 drill hole (DH D-2-8: 2 metres at 0.237% U3O8) further support the potential to discover additional uranium and vanadium mineralisation at None Such.

Visible uranium and vanadium mineralisation has been observed throughout None Such and Bonanza workings.

While being mapped, the Bonanza workings were discovered to be more extensive than initially expected and understood by the company.

Numerous underground channel sampling assays from Bonanza area are imminent, as well as the pending results from None Such.

TNT intends to develop a more intensive exploration program to be carried out once all results from the initial program have been received and interpreted.

East Canyon Project potential East Canyon Project lies within the extended Uravan Mineral Belt, an important source of uranium and vanadium ore in the US for more than 100 years.

The project is also within trucking distance (50 kilometres via major highway 191) of the only fully permitted and fully operational conventional uranium-vanadium mill in the US, Energy Fuels Inc’s (TSE:EFR) White Mesa Mill.

TNT’s East Canyon claims cover around 4,000 acres/16 square kilometres in the district and feature numerous historic workings including the None Such Mine, with multiple occurrences of visible mineralisation.
