“We have been undertaking equipment upgrading for over one year and now are ready to resume production in late July. What we will produced are all high-nitrogen vanadium nitride which will have 77%min vanadium contents and 19%min nitrogen contents, and therefore will have much better performances than ordinary vanadium nitride,” a source from the company said, adding that quotations they receive now for raw material vanadium pentoxide 98%min are mostly around the level of RMB120,000/t (USD8.1/lb V) EXW D/A 180 days, unchanged from last week.
Located in Baochi Economic Development Zone, Tianjin, the company is the only vanadium nitride producer in Tianjin.
