www.ferroalloynet.com: The vanadium market is very active this week because many steel tenders have appeared at the end of the month. Traders’ inquiries have been active since Tuesday. The price of ferrovanadium is CNY 120,000/t and that of vanadium-nitrogen alloy is CNY 180,000/t. As far as we know, orders from most alloy factories have been scheduled for the middle and late June. The steel bidding price of vanadium alloy keeps at a low level, but the offer of vanadium plants turn to increase, the market is polarized. As for vanadium raw materials, due to the tightening of vanadium pentoxide flake spot, the inquiries received by ammonium metavanadate manufacturers have increased. At present, the latest transaction price has been raised to CNY 112,000-115,000/t, and vanadium-nitrogen factories are actively purchasing. European vanadium prices rebounded for the first time this week after falling for three months in a row. European ferrovanadium prices rose slightly, and importers and exporters were active in purchasing.
